Good luck with those Sarath.

I have a confession to make (not that you asked) As a Christian I actually abhor the idea of people making money from money (usury) I think the concept of INTEREST is what keeps most of the world's poor population in abject misery... what do you think?

Hello James,
Great to hear from you. Well I have a more pragmatic view of such things - As long as there is a market out there where people can make money from money, people will. No government can/will ever ban the practise. If there are borrowers out there, there will be lenders (demand and supply). Being the Agnostic theist that I am, I would be happy to see God/Religion stay out of such affairs of men. But I do feel a strong revulsion for exploitation of any kind - be it usury or otherwise. But the greatest gift that most of us are lucky to have is the "right to choose". One may blame his / her misery, but it is his / her choice to borrow or not borrow money from a lender at a usurious interest. Well, Just like everything else in life, What you get depends on the choices you make. If one chooses to go to Mr.Shylock, let us respect his/her "right to choose". The reasons behind his/her choice -the misery and the suffering have always been there with mankind. Thats a totally different topic. All I can do is to "choose" not to ever exploit anyone for my selfish needs.
